I decided to make a list of my top ten favorite male characters in the movies. Yay!

1. Jack Sparrow
Played by: Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl.
Why he's great: Because he's Johnny Depp. Because he makes dread locks, eye liner, and gold teeth look sexy. Because he's fabulously adorable, sexy, smart, etc.

2. Lucius Hunt
Played by: Joaquin Pheonix in M. Night Shamalan's The Village.
Why he's great:Because he's romantic, handsome, and quiet. You gotta love his speech when he proposes to Ivy. And he didn't die, dammit!


3. Mr. Darcy
Played by: Matthew Macfayden in Pride and Prejudice.
Why he's great: Um. Because he is? He's so effin' manly. And, he's shy, and that's adorable. Totally. Plus, he's devoted, and has a nice accent. Hell, if he came through my backyard at dawn in nothing but a long coat, an open shirt, tight pants, and boots, I'd be like, "Heck yes!"


4. Erik
Played by: Gerard Butler in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.
Why he's great: He can sing. He's devoted. He's totally hot, besides the whole "deformed side of the face" thing. He's seductive and sexy. I wouldn't mind him rubbing me up. Even if it would mean living underground the rest of my life... ._.;


5. Dr. Jonathan Crane
Played by: Cillian Murphy in Batman Begins.
Why he's great: Besides the fact that he portrayed Johnny perfectly, and he's gorgeous, he makes creepy sexy. You feel sort of bad for him...he just wants to fit in. And kick B-man's ass. But whatever.


6. Anakin Skywalker
Played by: Hayden Christiansen in Star Wars Epidsode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Why he's great: Well, being gorgeous always helps. But also, the slow decent from sane to insanity is amazing. His devotion to Obi-Wan and Padme is wonderful. Although it kind of felt like he didn't care about his future children. ^_^;;


7. Edward Scissorhands
Played by: Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands.
Why he's great: He's shy at first, but as the movie goes on you see how lonely poor Edward is, and that he loves Kim quite a bit. And she cared about him..and he was willing to protect her, and her family for that matter, at any cost. Of course, then he had to go live alone. Sob, sob.


8. Bernard
Played by: David Krumholtz in The Santa Clause.
Why he's great: Well, he's sarcastic, and so freakin' cute with that beret and the curly hair. He didn't get much screen time in either of the movies, unfortunately, but I heard they announced a third. Although he's changed quite a bit...^_^;;


9. Napoleon Dynamite
Played by: Jon Heder in Napoleon Dynamite.
Why he's great: Why not? He's the underdog. Sure, he's a little strange looking, but we all know the real Jon Heder is not. Hee. But he's awesome...I mean, there are only like, two people who have seen the movie and don't like it.


10. Jacob Grimm
Played by: Heath Ledger in The Brothers Grimm.
Why he's great: He's smart, funny when he's drunk, incredibly adorable, and all around wonderful. *luff luff luff*
